Given the class restrictions, I wanted something more or less universal across forests, fields, and lakes. I can immediately say that I don’t climb in swamps and all these elevators, swamps and off-road vehicles don’t bother me. Only if as a spectator. Well, I wanted something new. I'm quite tolerant of used cars, but not for personal use.

I've been looking at the patriots seriously since the summer, thinking about everything. I was captivated by the huge trunk, simple design and the availability of machine prostheses. But most of all, of course, is the abundance of documentation on these Internets of yours. I consulted with my family. My father said that if I buy a Patriot, he will abandon me. And that you need to buy a Duster, because it is relatively reliable and economical, and I, a Moscow hand-assed asshole, don’t need anything else. Because of this, of course, I finally decided to buy a car :) And then subsidies for new cars through trade-in turned up.

But seriously, the decision was forced. Honestly, it was scary. They write a lot of bad things on the forums, saying that everything breaks, rots and falls off. It was somewhat reassuring that I refused to use the car in the city, only on weekends for nature, which means that if I make a mistake with the decision, it will not be particularly critical. In general, my father and I decided that if the soul lies, then so be it. In the end, life doesn't end there. One way or another, I decided.

I won’t tell you how I bought it. There is nothing new in this procedure. If anyone is curious, I’ll tell you more.

One way or another, I got the machine. For the first five kilometers I thought I would turn gray ahead of time. Most of all it scared me additional pump(I later found out that it was she who was howling). At first I thought it was the fuel pump howling. The stump is clear, my f*** hairs stood on end with fear. Moreover, the dog doesn’t stop. Then I figured out that if you turn the heating to minimum, it turns off. I stopped, looked on the Internet, and calmed down.

The clutch tightened up a bit. When the connection is smooth, the car begins to shake, and some kind of resonance occurs. The reason is understandable, of course - uneven transmission of torque - but it’s annoying. With a slight over-gassing there is no such effect. I'll keep an eye on it as I use it.

Average consumption gasoline is a different story. 45 liters per hundred. Also, then I realized that he takes into account the consumption during idle work engine based on a simple ratio of total consumption to distance traveled. When I started, the consumption began to drop sharply.

As a result, I covered a total distance of only 60 km on Monday (!) evening (!) from VDNKh to Lyublino. Based on the results of this “test run” I can report the following:

1. The cabin is not noisy. Nothing creaks or howls. Even extra. The heater pump stopped howling and began to rustle quietly. Neither the Niva nor the Lincoln Navigator (I used it for a month while I was waiting for the car) is quieter. This is absolutely accurate.

2. The engine is really very flexible. Even unusual. Well, those who changed from shnivka to patr will understand me.

3. Yes, my dears, he is on the prowl! It’s not critical, it’s not so bad that you have to catch it, but you can’t give up the steering wheel. He won't be going straight for long. And you have to watch the road. Although this did not last long - the roads were very busy.

4. The average consumption was 17 liters per hundred. However, we understand that this is garbage and it can only be assessed after 5,000 kilometers using receipts. The rest of the method is from the evil one :)

5. The ride is simply convenient, due to a combination of factors. Despite the heavy snowfall, excellent visibility, high visibility, silence in the cabin and fabulous light. Subjectively - I liked it.
